Important Dates

Measles Requirement
Please complete ASAP to avoid complications with registration. This enrollment step is required for all incoming UW students. Please review the process and FAQs provided on the Measles Requirement web page, then contact the Hall Health Center directly at measles@uw.edu if you have questions not answered by the FAQs.

Orientation
Mandatory events for orientation will take place starting September 13, with more dates TBA. Students must attend all of these days.

Autumn Quarter Begins
Monday, September 23, 2019

Summer Programs

The Summer Institute in Transnational Law and Practice for foreign-trained graduate students and all MJ students, Sept. 3 to Sept. 13, 2019 (Mornings and Afternoons)

Constitutional Law: Structures of Government (3 credits) for foreign-trained LL.M. students,

Professional Responsibility (4 credits) for foreign-trained LL.M. students

The Graduate Preparation Program provides opportunities to explore your academic interests through lectures by UW professors, student presentations, academic projects and readings, as well as to meet and build your own new network of academic and professional peers. Incoming graduate students who are required to take ENGL 102 and/or 104 now have the option of participating in the Graduate Preparation Program to fulfill the UW Graduate School’s English language proficiency requirements. CASRIP Summer Institute for IP graduate students, July 15 – 26, 2019

Introduction to Income Taxation for Taxation LL.M. students who have not previously taken a U.S. federal income taxation course. This is is a three-week intensive course that starts prior to autumn quarter, on September 3, 2019.
