    Wikipedia assignment step 1

    • Due Jan 11, 2019 by 11:59pm
    • Points 3
    • Submitting a website url

For this assignment you will work in groups to write an article on Wikipedia that is a biography of an Australian Archaeologist who is a woman.

We will work through the activities at https://dashboard.wikiedu.org/courses/University_of_Washington/ARCHY_319_Archaeology_of_Australia_(Winter)/timeline to prepare for this assignment.

The assignment is due mid-quarter, so we are going to work through the five modules on our Wikiedu site to give us the skills and knowledge to complete the assignment.

For this first week, you need to work by yourself to:

    • Join our class group at WikiEdu via this URL https://dashboard.wikiedu.org/courses/University_of_Washington/ARCHY_319_Archaeology_of_Australia_(Winter)?enroll=hrwdqnmf
    • Read through the Week 1 orientation materials at WikiEdu, then complete the activity 'Evaluate an article', focus your review on articles relevant to the assignment: start from here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Australian_archaeologists.
    • You need to submit here on Canvas the URL to your sandbox that has 100-200 words of your notes from that activity. This assignment is done individually, not in groups, you need to submit your own URL to your own sandbox.
