    In small groups, discuss and record your responses to the prompts in this document:

    What is Professional and Technical Writing?

    Tip: Make a copy of the document for your group to share. Enter your responses directly into that copy.

    Time: You will have about 20 minutes to discuss and work as a group.

    Sharing in class: Choose a spokesperson to share your responses with the rest of the class. You group will be responsible for responding to at least  the question that corresponds with your breakout room number. 

    Turning in: Choose a notetaker to record your answers to the questions. Make sure that everyone in your group has their name on the shared document for your group. Have the notetaker turn in the assignment in Canvas.

    Grading:

    • 1  point for completing at least half of the prompts.
    • 0 points for not turning it in.
    • If you missed class, you can complete this activity on your own.
