In small groups, discuss and record your responses to the prompts in these documents:
Identifying Logical Fallacies
Tip: Make a copy of the documents for your group to share. Enter your responses directly into that copy.
Time: You will have about 20 minutes to discuss the summary and work as a group. After we discuss the first activity as a full class, you will have about 30 minutes to review the example technical reports.
Sharing in class: Choose a spokesperson to share your responses with the rest of the class. Your group will be responsible for responding to at least the question that corresponds with your breakout room number. Make sure that you have a different spokesperson for the two activities.
Turning in: Choose a notetaker to record your answers to the questions. Make sure that everyone in your group has their name on the shared document for your group. Have the notetaker turn in the assignment in Canvas.
