Registration Tutorials

Registration is something that takes place about mid-quarter, and is always rather stressful. To alleviate that stress, make sure you know what your "class standing"* is and check the academic calendar Links to an external site. for your registration date. Links to an external site.

MyUW also lists when your registration date is, but checking both ways is a good idea.

MyPlan Registration

Here's a video on how to navigate everything on MyPlan, I'm not a huge fan of it personally, but most undergraduates will register this way.

SLN Registration

This is what I prefer since there are fewer bells and whistles.

*Class standing changes after every 45 credits:

Freshmen: 0-45 Cr

Sophomore: 45-90 Cr

Junior: 90-135 Cr

Senior: 135+ Cr
