Week 5 Overview

Introduction

This week, we will practice engaging with academic research and synthesizing texts (Outcomes 2 & 3). 

There is no live class on Wednesday. Instead, you will each sign up for an individual 15-minute conference with me on Monday or Tuesday. For your conferences, bring your ideas for MP2 and any questions you have so far.

▢ Read We Have Always Lived in the Castle Chapters 1-3  by Mon (so up until the end of chapter 3). 

▢ Read Major Project 2 prompt by Mon

▢ Read the UW Libraries' page on Source Evaluation and watch embedded video by Mon

Conferences

▢ Attend one 15-minute conference with me (sign up through google sheets) 

Assignments

▢ Submit MP 2 project worksheet on Sunday
