Exams

Exams are due on the specified dates and times—no exceptions or extensions.

Postings and Quizzes

Postings and quizzes will be accepted up to 5 days after the posted due date. Late submissions will be docked 10% of the assignment grade for each 24-hour period they are late. A maximum of 30% of the assignment grade will be docked for late submission. No late work will be accepted after 11:59 pm Friday March 10.

Class Participation and Absences

If you are absent from a class, you can receive participation points for that class meeting by submitting written notes in response to the questions posted on Canvas for the day’s primary readings.

• Submit your notes via email as a Word attachment or compatible text file. Screenshots of handwritten notes are not accepted.
• Use your UW email.
• Give your email the heading: “463 Participation Notes for [date].”
• You can receive participation credit for such notes no more than twice during the term, unless I have given written (email) approval of other arrangements.
• No notes will be accepted after 11:59 pm Friday March 10.
