For this assignment, you will collaboratively read and annotate the "Belt". When you annotate literary texts, you should:

highlight and comment on anything that teaches us about medieval thoughts on gender
highlight and comment on other noteworthy features of the text;
ask questions
reply to your peers' questions and comments.

Criteria	Superior Annotations If your annotations are superior, that means you stimulated productive discussions, thoroughly explained your thought process, drew attention to strong points, asked good questions, and helped your peers better understand the texts through your own comments or replies to their comments.	Good Annotations If your annotations are good, that means you did many of the things listed in the "superior annotations" description, but not as consistently or frequently.	Satisfactory Annotations If your annotations are satisfactory, that means you provided some interesting comments on the text but did not stimulate discussions or dig more deeply into the details.	Unsatisfactory Annotations If your annotations are unsatisfactory, that means they are incomplete and/or do not demonstrate that you have carefully read the text.
