CASE STUDY

This case is meant to increase your knowledge and understanding of some of the issues that patients and physicians encounter with Medicaid. After reviewing state-specific resources from the previous page, complete this quiz on Medicaid coverage. The quiz is not graded, but you must complete it to get credit for the module.

Once you have submitted your answers, you'll be able to see pop-ups for each question showing the correct answer for different WWAMI states.

Case Presentation: Ms. J is a 24 year old woman who is working on a management training track in retail.  She is sexually active and wants to obtain contraception. Her Modified Adjusted Gross Income (MAGI) is $16,000 a year.  All states now use MAGI (the adjusted gross income with a modifier applied) to calculate eligibility.
