Introductions L1 : Course Overview

We will not just be reading through the syllabus today - come prepared to jump in with your feet first!

In addition to reviewing the course policies and assignments, we will be collectively creating a class participation policy. We will have a couple other activities - they say the first class should be representative of the way class will go, so be ready for a taste of what the quarter will be like!

Quiz Sections 1: Introductions

You will meet your TA, go over the quiz section policies and team role assignments, then work together as a class to collectively generate community guidelines for discussions. There are no assigned readings for today!

Introductions L2: Human-Environment Relations

This class will provide an introduction to the five main themes of geography (location, place, movement, region, human-environment relations). We will then discuss human-environment relations in more detail, discussing the concept of co-production as a central, driving theme of the class.
