Lithosphere QS1: SciComm Project Team Discussion

Instead of the normal team roles discussion, this week's quiz section will be devoted to getting feedback from your teammates regarding your science communication projects (due this coming Sunday). Bring any rough drafts, outlines, etc. of your project that you have so far, and be prepared to ask your team members your top 1-2 questions where you would appreciate feedback on your project.

If your team (or part of your team) is completing the SciComm project as a group, you can also use this time to work together on the project.

Lithosphere L2: Plate Tectonics Case Study: Japan

Today, we will review information about plate tectonics and boundaries. We will then discuss the case study of the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami. We will then examine how this natural disaster led to a far more human-created one: the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant disaster.
