The UW Libraries Undergraduate Researcher Tutorial supports student research skills across academic fields and disciplines. This online tutorial is asynchronous, self-paced and introduces students to UW Libraries Links to an external site. resources and services available in various research disciplines. Based on the needs identified by student researchers, faculty research mentors, and the Office of Undergraduate Research, the tutorial includes the modules: Strategic reading; Evaluating information; Database & search skills; Citation practices; Publishing & sharing research and Finding your balance. This tutorial is designed for all levels of student research expertise. Also included is a Tutorial Action Plan (PDF Download PDF, Word Download Word) to help students keep track of personal goals and key research tools and resources at the University of Washington.
