Your Research is Important and Deserves to be Shared

Oftentimes in academia, the same voices or perspectives are placed on a pedestal and undergraduate students might feel as though they have nothing to offer to their preferred discipline. But we encourage you to share your research and make your voice heard! Bias exists not only in the media but in scholarly publishing, as well. Women and BIPOC researchers and scholars can sometimes find it difficult to get traction for their work or to be cited as often as white, male scholars. It is important for you to not only cite diverse authors in your research, but also think about sharing your work and ensure it's properly credited to you!
