Where is class?
We'll be using Discord this quarter to facilitate all class interactions, and Zoom as a backup if Discord is down, or we need some of Zoom's features. I'll share a Discord invite via a Canvas message. If you have not used Discord before, create an account before joining the class Discord server. Once you've joined:
- Change your nickname on the server, so that Alannah and I can learn your names, track participation, etc.
- Ideally, you'd also have a headshot in your Discord account, and your real name for your Discord username. However, we recognize that some of you use Discord for other things :)
- When we're a large group, we use audio only and I will screen share slides occasionally. When we're in small groups, use video, so we can get to know each other better!
