Research Proposal

The author(s) of each project will write a brief proposal for their project. You will write a proposal that will mimic the type of proposal that you would submit for a conference presentation (one single-spaced page - like sample 2 Links to an external site.). 

This proposal should include 

(1) title, 

(2) theoretical framework, 

(3) a very brief overview of the related literature, 

(5) the rationale for the study (why the proposed study is important), 

(6) research questions, 

(7) a description of the participants, 

(8) a description of the planned procedure (methodology)

(9) a description of ethical considerations 

(10) a description of the possible implications of the study 

Submit one per team. Bring six printed copies of your proposal to class and upload a copy to Canvas. In class, we will read each other’s proposals and provide feedback.  (If you don't have access to a printer or do not want to make physical copies make sure you are ready to share a copy of a Google doc with everyone in class).
