Write a short reflective piece (250-300 words) regarding Tuesday's discussion about the in-class reading on Northern Athapaskan oral traditions and migration. You can write about one or two compelling discussion points that emerged, questions you still have about the reading or about a topic raised in the discussion, or a different perspective that struck you after thinking back on the discussion. You might also connect the discussion to other concepts and topics/readings relative to the course. This is meant to be an open-ended exercise encouraging you to think critically about the discussion activity and demonstrate that you learned something from it.
For the discussion reflections, please submit your assignment as a text entry directly through Canvas. You are welcome to type it first in Word and to then copy/paste it into Canvas, if you want to use Word's spelling and grammar check (avoid Word's thesaurus, though—it's junk). I am not looking for these entries to be among your best writing. Do give it a quick proofread, though, to ensure that I can understand whatever you have written.
This reflection is due by noon, Wednesday, Jan. 11.
