There is no formal class meeting today. Instead, please watch the following. We will incorporate relevant content in our discussion in next Thursday's class. Please note the sensitive, dramatic and often traumatic content that will be presented in these films, which may be difficult to watch, but ultimately critical in understanding the challenges of the asylum process.

As you're watching, consider these questions:

  1. What are the different problems that you observe in viewing a part of the asylum process?
  2. How would you describe the interview process?
  3. What would you change about the process and why?
