Managing participants in a meeting

Select the Participants icon in the Zoom control bar to show a list of all participants currently in the meeting. From the participants panel, a host can:

  • Mute the audio or turn off the video for a specific participant using Participants controls.
  • Grant Co-host permissions to other meeting participants, so they can help administer the meeting.
  • Admit participants from the waiting room or move participants back into the waiting room.

From the meeting control bar:

  1. Selecting the Participants icon will open the participant pane, which lists current participants and includes a number of options for the host.
  2. Clicking the small arrow to the right of the icon will open a menu that will allow you to copy and share the meeting link.

From the Participant pane, the host can:

  • Toggle the microphone or video camera icon next to a Participant name to turn off their camera or microphone.
  • Select More next to a Participant to apply other settings, including:
    • Make Host
    • Make Co-host
    • Put in Waiting Room
    • Remove (from the meeting)

Select More from the bottom of the Participants panel to toggle settings that apply to ALL Participants.

  • Ask All to Unmute
  • Play Join and Leave Sound
  • Lock Meeting
  • Enable Waiting Room
  • Allow Participants to:  Unmute Themselves, Rename, or Start Video
