In this quick exercise you will continue to work with your Assignment #2 partner.
You will receive a mystery bag of matter.
Your job is to
Part 1: De-compose this matter to understand what it is made of and how it behaves. Additional background research on the matter may be useful, though this exercise is not about looking things up (online or in books). Rather, it is about hands-on doing and experiencing.
Part 2: Re-compose this matter to 5 different test batches of material, each of which would give you different physical characteristics, material behaviors and opportunities for function.
Present these test batches with your findings (of what worked and why / what did not work and why) in class on Thursday, Nov 9th.
We are doing a show and tell in class. There is nothing to submit online.
