Directions: Using a minimum of 1,500 words, address one of the following set of questions.

- Is there a Latin American philosophy? What makes something genuine philosophy? What does or would) make something specifically (i.e., what are the requirements for a) Latin American philosophy?
- Is there something like a Latinx identity? If there is, is “Latinx” even the right term for it? What kind of identity is it, race, ethnicity, other? Is it a kind of identity that is changing, that we should seek to preserve, seek to eliminate or is it one that is going out of existence?
You can also come up with your own topic, just be sure to run it by me. Keep in mind that this is a TERM paper—a paper meant to test what you have taken away from this course—not necessarily a RESEARCH paper.
