1) Remember the first computer you used in a meaningful way. (Computer defined broadly, could be a calculator, or a phone, or a electronic game, or…). Talk about your memories of the machine (1/2 - 1 page expected).

2) Find an older computing machine to discuss. I think the best way to pick a computer is to talk to an older relative or friend, and their memories of computers. Another way is to look at the collection at the Living Computer Museum.  Research your selected machine and write about a 1 page description of it and why it interested you.
