Artists' Books

No reading to do in preparation for today. We'll be meeting in the Special Collections classroom (directions below) to view a tiny portion of our library's amazing collection of artists' books. There will be time to linger after class ends if you just haven't had enough!

If, after this visit, you are interested in making a book yourself as your artistic response to one of our readings, please come see me as soon as possible.

Be prepared to leave your belongings in a closet in the Special Collections classroom and to take notes using only pencil and paper.

Directions to the classroom:

Allen Library North lobby

Take the elevator down to the basement.

Turn right.

Turn right again.

The classroom is on the right, about halfway down the hall.
