As experienced time travel agents, it is your job to help train the next generation of time travelers to the ancient Middle East. You will read a chapter from the “Archaeology of Daily Life” (ADL) module on Canvas. Decide which information is most important for someone time-travelling to the period, create a flyer for it, and present it poster-session style during class time, then turn in the flyer on Canvas.
- The flyer should cover the front and back of one page.
- The flyer should include the following:
- Your names
- The name of your topic
- Clear and relevant images (make sure that you are still able to fit your required information!)
- At least 5 things about your topic that a trainee should know, highlighting the one that you think is the most important
- Why it might be dangerous to not know one of these things
- The student should bring in 20 copies of the flyer so that they can give them to fellow students. (If you need me to print copies for you, email me (kmed1@uw.edu) your flyer by 7 am on May 13th. I can only print in black and white.)
- Be ready to explain to fellow students why this information is crucial for trainee time-travelers!
