Graduate Reading Review

For this assignments, you will read an extra reading, summarize it, and review it in 2-3 pages double-spaced. Choose readings from the Egypt, Mesopotamia, or Syria/Canaan collections under Modules on Canvas. Turn your reviews in on Canvas. 

Your review should include: Full bibliographic information on the article/chapter, a summary of the article (What is the evidence? What argument does the author make based on that evidence?), and a discussion of the significance of this information for our understanding of death in the ancient Middle East. You may also include a critique of the author’s argument if you desire. Make sure to write clearly and to check your work for grammar and spelling errors.
