Delivering Content

Text-based| Interactive | Open-source | Slide design | Instructional Video | Online Lessons

Today we have so many opportunities to create, deliver, and organize learning content to engage and inspire student learning. The Learning Design team makes use of creative, interactive, and varied options for packaging learning content, especially if it is intended to be delivered online in Canvas or in concert with Canvas. Besides guidance on text-based content presented artfully on Canvas Pages, interactive content using tools within or outside of Canvas, open-source content that all students can access, academic slide design, we offer and encourage professional instructional or on-location video co-created by our Media Production team (see below for examples of video used for lecture, demonstrations, interviews, motion graphics), and instructor-created video options with training and guidance from our Instructor Development team.

The Learning Design team helps prepare and reviews all content carefully, for clarity and accessibility, and then organizes content into lessons within Canvas that are logical, clear, and pedagogically sound.
