Skills sample API DOC Assignment 2.1: Fork To-Do Service

Introduction

In this course, you'll need a GitHub account that can access the class GitHub account.

This video shows how to connect your accounts and create one, if you don't already have one.

For this first exercise - Fork the to-do-service repo and document your experience.

Instructions

• Use Week 1 Discussion - Peer Support on Assignment 1.1 to ask for help from your peers and share your experience.
• Connect your GitHub account to access the class GitHub account as described in the video.
• Fork the to-do-service Links to an external site. to your GitHub account.
  

What to Submit

• If you successfully forked the repo to your account:
  
  • In the text: post how long it took you to fork the repo.
  • In the URL: post the link to your forked repo.
• If, after spending 15 minutes on this task, you were not successful, in the text, or as a separate doc:
  
  • Describe what you need to feel comfortable with that task (identify learning goals to understand what a tutorial for that task would need to cover) 
  • If possible, take note of your procedure in an outline.

• A link to your repo
• Using the Text feature: any details on how you did, if you were unsuccessful, that would help your instructor help you
• Uploaded notes as a Word document

Grading

This assignment is a Complete/Incomplete graded assignment, which counts toward a small portion of your badge requirement.
