Part One:

In your peer review groups, either read through your narrative out loud or play the recording of your narrative and answer the following questions. Everyone must submit responses.

  1. Who is in your group?
  2. Did you read your narrative? Or play a recording?
  3. How do you feel about the aural version of your narrative? Does anything need to be changed?
  4. What is different about the aural version? What is the same?
  5. How does intent, purpose, and/or audience change (if at all) when the media/mode changes?

Part Two:

In the same groups, play the music you found for today and answer the following questions. Everyone must submit responses.

  1. What kind of music did you choose for your narrative/analysis? Why did you choose this kind of music?
  2. Where did you find the music? What are the license restrictions on the music?
  3. How do you plan on using the music? As background throughout? As intro/outro? During specific moments?
  4. Did you find any sound effects? If so, what did you find and how do you plan on using them? If not, are you considering using sound effects? Why or why not?
  5. How will the music you selected transform the intent, purpose, and/or audience (if at all) of your narrative? What are you hoping the music "does" for your narrative?
