Wordplay is its own programming language. Whether you're curating Wordplay examples, fixing bugs, adding features, verifying things, or designing stuff, you have to know the basics of the language to be able to contribute all of these things in a way that makes sense for the platform. It's also an important opportunity for you to suggest ways of changing or improving the platform, especially if something is confusing.
Complete the Wordplay tutorial Links to an external site., or as an alternative with less drama, read the Wordplay documentation Links to an external site.. You could also read several of the gallery examples, using the debugger to see how they evaluate.
As you learn, you are bound to find bugs, design flaws, and other issues worth fixing. Submit one distinct issue for each problem you find (and if it's already reported, a comment on the issue to indicate that you also found the problem, adding more information to the issue).
After you're done, submit GitHub links to all of the issues you submitted or comments you posted. You should submit at least one, because no platform is perfect!
If you've already done this in a previous quarter, you can skip this and just work on tasks.
