A faculty mentor is someone who has expertise in – or adjacent to – your proposed area of research. Now that you have sketched out a research idea and working bibliography, you need to identify someone who can help you to move forward. You may already have a faculty member in mind. If so, identify your mentor in your submission. Be sure to follow up by scheduling a meeting with your mentor, if you haven't done so already.
