Overall, this quarter has been a whirlwind of writing assignments, and each has taught me a unique lesson about my own writing and how to improve it. This portfolio has been the first time I’ve been assigned to analyze my own writing, and it’s certainly helped me see the strengths and weaknesses in my own work. I am consistently able to synthesize unique prose, but the content of my work is always a bit short of my desires. Hopefully you saw my efforts to improve content in my portfolio, as my goal with writing this cover letter has been to fully demonstrate how my work has supported each and every bullet under the four outcomes.

            I’ve certainly gained plenty of insight into my own persuasive writing, and appreciate all of the hours you’ve put in to help me become a better writer. I’m excited to see where my newfound writing talent will carry me in the engineering field, and I’m certain I’ll always consider the four outcomes in my future writing endeavors. Thank you so much for helping me become a more persuasive writer! Although I came into this class dreading having to write, I'm satisfied that I've learned how to craft a strong persuasive essay and will cherish the experiences I’ve had in this class.
