One of the areas I looked at was the Educational Studies Major. It is new this year, which is exciting because that is the area I want to major in and they now have it. I found out what types of classes I have to take and what the major entails. It was very interesting to see what the major was like because it's brand new and they're still establishing it. 

The second thing I found interesting was the Study Abroad program. I've always had a love for travel and I would love to study abroad. I discovered that they go all over the world for various times. What I found interesting is the study abroad programs focus on specific majors and are very tailored to your personal needs.  As I said it would be incredible to study abroad. 

One of the things I looked at that I didn't think I would find interesting at all is the research program. There's an opportunity to research pretty much anything- anything that would may be interested in there's a professor that will help. One of the things I found interesting is they have research for Education majors and I always figured research was mainly for the maths and sciences. It would be very helpful to research something relevant to my major. 

Another booth I looked at was the Clamor group, an arts journal published for and by students. It's very cool that you can submit any art form and possibly have it published. I think it's a great thing they are doing by promoting student art. I like to write poetry and take pictures so I would consider submitting something.
